University of Illinois

Scholarship Eligibility

The Stamps Scholars Program recognizes and rewards exceptional students who demonstrate leadership, perseverance, service, and innovation while maintaining a high level of academic success.

About the Scholarship

The foundation’s monetary contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar by the University of Illinois to fully fund the Stamps Leadership Scholars Awards.

The scholarship covers the total estimated cost of attendance. Additionally, the scholarship includes an enrichment fund to support scholarly activities as approved by Illinois and the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.

The scholarship is renewable for four years, provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.

More information about the Stamps Leadership Scholar Awards may be found on the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement website.

Selection Process

Each year, student admission files are thoroughly reviewed for students who meet the above criteria. No additional application is required.

Candidates will be contacted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to arrange a visit to campus to interview with the donor, meet the program advisor and current Stamps Scholars, and learn more about the program at Illinois.

From these candidates, five recipients will be selected to become Stamps Scholars at Illinois.
